The Snitem organized on May 14, 2019 in Paris the 5th start-up innovation day of the medical device industry. The 2019 edition brought together nearly 1,000 participants but also 41 speakers, 28 partners and 24 sponsors.
Shortlisted among numerous applications by a jury made up of representatives from 11 leading medical companies (GE Healthcare, Micro Port CRM, Resmed, Medtronic, Strammer, Urgo Medical, Peters Surgical, Vygon, WeHealth Digital Medicine, Winncare and Maxon Motor), Archeon has distinguished itself by the quality of its innovation, the strength of its team and the major public health issue to which it responds.
Archeon’s philosophy is to create simple and easy-to-use tools for first-aid workers, based on data analysis and self-interpretation of physiological parameters, and which allow rescuers to be guided in their actions without requiring a long and binding learning process.
Archeon’s innovation is based on a non-invasive measurement technology coupled with an on-board AI that measures and interprets in real time the quality of ventilation provided to patients suffering from cardiac arrest. This technology, which will become essential in the coming years, has attracted the attention of the entire assembly, particularly regarding the scope of the healthcare sectors concerned by this issue, which remains even today one of the main causes of mortality worldwide.
As medical desertification intensifies, and the organization of the care is transforming rapidly, Archeon proposes here an excellent tool allowing first aiders, professionals or volunteers, to make the life-saving gestures in all circumstances.
