With ventilation feedback device : improve your manual ventilation by over 70%

In 2019, a study demonstrate that a ventilation feedback device improves the performance of manual ventilation during cardiopulmonary resuscitation by over 70%.

The study was published in the Scandinavian Journal of Trauma «https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/31640797/»

The healthcare professionals performed a 5-minute conventional manual ventilation and with a ventilation feedback device (which monitors ventilatory parameters and provide direct feedback about ventilation quality).

Despite training, only 15% of participants provided adequate ventilation and 75% hyperventilated the simulated patient.

The study showed that the use of EOlife improves from 15 to 90% the quality of the ventilation with the mask and reduces the risk of hyperventilation by a factor of 10.
